Mapping Exercise on Inter-disciplinary Training
This document highlights the elements of interdisciplinary training that the key professional groups in the family justice system undertake as part of basic training, post qualification training and continuing professional development.
It has been compiled by the Education and Training Committee of the Family Justice Council. Local Family Justice Councils may find this information helpful when putting together training events. It should give a better idea as to the level of inter-disciplinary knowledge and understanding that the various professional groups can be expected to have and so assist in identifying the appropriate level at which to 'pitch' training presentations. Local Councils may wish to provide this information to speakers at their training events.
